Anna Broshears

Anna M. Broshears was born and raised in Indiana. Her mother was an accomplished painter and encouraged Anna to pick up a brush and put color to paper at a young age. Growing up, Anna also had a passion for science. She graduated from Ball State University with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry and received a degree from Indiana University in Cytology. She continued to paint while working as a Cytologist at the Indiana University School of Medicine where she also served on the faculty. She acquired a studio in Indianapolis where she had great success and began to show her work in galleries. After 25 years she retired to Florida. She currently resides in St. Petersburg Florida and has a studio at the Five Deuces Studios in the Warehouse Arts District of St. Petersburg. Her work ranges from large seascapes to abstracts and beyond. Anna has collectors in Connecticut, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Florida, and England.
