Anne Marie Roure

Each of my paintings is inspired by my heart. As a self-taught artist, I seek to capture and share my view of experiences, people, places and moods. I’m often asked how often I paint, and my response is, “When the mood surfaces.” I never know when, but it lasts a few days and I recognize it quickly. I call it being in “a flow” because during those times creative expression dominates my focus.

Having left my corporate career behind me, I have the time to embrace, explore and cultivate my gift. My other interests include travel, having adventures exploring St. Petersburg with my boxer, Pablo, and staying physically active through swimming, yoga and personal training workouts. I moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 2020, and have joined other local artists at Five Deuces Galleria. I thank God for my gift of expression and the opportunity to share it.

Anne Marie’s art has found its way into homes throughout the continental United States, as well as Hawaii, Russia and Germany. She creates from her own inspirations and also frequently paints by commission.
