Juan Alonso-Rodriguez

Juan Alonso-Rodríguez is a Cuban-born, self-taught artist. His works are in numerous private and public collections, including Microsoft, Portland Art Museum, and General Mills. He has created public works for Seattle/Tacoma International Airport and Seattle’s Light Rail System. His awards include an Artist Trust Fellowship, a Seattle Mayor’s Arts Award, a Washington Governor’s Arts Award, and he has been nominated twice for the Joan Mitchell Foundation’s Painters & Sculptors Grant.
